I'll occasionally watch The Simpson's when it's on, occasionally watch the news, and occasionally watch those cool HDTV presentations during the day when I'm bored out of my mind or hung-over.
Oh, let's not forget the occcasional game of Rugby or Cricket. However any show I actually like I buy on DVD.
Let's face it; free-to-air TV sucks.

yeh im sick of crime shows aswell. What ****ing kinda of super scientist can get DNA off one strand of hair FFS!!@!@~ and then get the DNA results in 5 mins of getting the strand to the lab! and why doesnt the crooks get away sometimes in CSI, pisses me off. Next time a crook needs to cap one of the ****ing CSI team members. would be great if it was that smart ass old CSI team leader aswell.
Anyhow, back to 9. Im cultured and only watch ABC, SBS and sports :)

Agreed. i'd rather watch an entire show in a few weeks one after the other on DVD or "other means" :P than go through all the bullshit on TV. but like Rec said i DO watch the odd sport or big event, or the morning news.

Every single character in those CSI shows is actually the same character. To avoid making it completely obvious that they are all the same character, they have the smart/quiet/almost strange guy to just mix things up, but he's really just a smarter, stranger version of the rest of the characters, who talk the same, act the same... they even go as far as putting on almost identical facial expressions when there's a plot twist or they disocover something!
Then what's even worse, all of these shows are the same show, literally. Where do they stop!?!?

I dunno, there are some good reality TV shows, like Mythbusters and The New Inventors. Though they're not strictly reality TV shows I guess. Ones that actually show interesting things and don't treat their viewers like morons :D

I've watched the Apprentice a few times when up late... whenever the teams go into creative orientated tasks to design marketing campaigns and brochures etc I'm always entertained... its always ****in' hilarious.

yeh, the only reason reality is been made is cos its cheap and you can get some sort of audience. like but a house, give them food, dont pay them, dont pay script writers, dont pay a decent director
