Anyone else with a DS and this game? This game supports up to 8 players so it would make it a great DS LAN game for a DGA or something.
You can also play it online (via WiFi) but it's limited (because of lag issues) so a LAN would be the best multiplayer experience.
Mario Kart on SNES is the only way to go.
I was playing this last week at work, Nintendo Australia sent us a demo copy.

Have you tried the DS version? It pretty much takes the best bits from all the previous Mario Kart games and puts them into one game. It even has a few SNES tracks in there.
Graphics-wise it surpasses the N64 version and the GCN version tracks look very close to their GCN originals.

Yeah it came out on the 17th. There is also a Silver DS + Mario Kart bundle out.
Yes I understand most of the people around here only use 'real' computers but I know a few do some console/handheld gaming on the side so I thought I would just ask.
SperO, Animal Crossing Wild World for the DS is also out December 8th. I did play a demo of Trauma Centre and it looks fun. I haven't got around to importing any DS games yet though.
We should get a couple of us to bring it to the next DGA.
I have a DS and I have this game.....ordered a modem from nintendo so goign to play online.
This game is the best portable game out now. Believe it.
The game even supports single-card multiplayer. So even if you have a DS but no Mario Kart you can join in.
I bought a DS, but now wish i hadn't.
The view screen makes me squint ;(
gf has one..
my gf brought one the other week.. she got the bundle that came with the Mario Kart game..
only played a little bit of the game but it looks pretty damn good, prob would be even better to play online against other ppl.
she also got Nintendogs which i havent played yet, but it also looks good..
