Quote from Kawolski;288577: Wow that must have looked shocking on such a huge tv lol. Bloody nintendo not supplying component cables till a week after launch. Knight: Its cheap coz the hardware isnt much more than just an overclocked gamecube, it should be even cheaper. Nintendo just choose not to subsidise their co…
We probably all knew it was coming since Australia and Europe always get the raw end of the deal but now it's official. No PS3 until around March 2007. http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2006/09/06/business/AS_FIN_COM_Japan_Sony_PlayStation.php Also there will only be 400,000 units available for the US launch on Nov 17t…
So all we gotta do is get some cheap backhaul installed between Darwin and Adelaide... Or has anyone got a few thousand kilometres of spare fibre laying around? :p
Yeah it came out on the 17th. There is also a Silver DS + Mario Kart bundle out. Yes I understand most of the people around here only use 'real' computers but I know a few do some console/handheld gaming on the side so I thought I would just ask. SperO, Animal Crossing Wild World for the DS is also out December 8th.…
Quote from HeReTiC: Mario Kart on SNES is the only way to go. Have you tried the DS version? It pretty much takes the best bits from all the previous Mario Kart games and puts them into one game. It even has a few SNES tracks in there. Graphics-wise it surpasses the N64 version and the GCN version tracks look very c…
Anyone else with a DS and this game? This game supports up to 8 players so it would make it a great DS LAN game for a DGA or something. You can also play it online (via WiFi) but it's limited (because of lag issues) so a LAN would be the best multiplayer experience.
November 17th. Mario Kart DS. 8 players via wireless LAN. 4 players online via WiFi internet. 16 classic tracks. 16 new tracks. 'Nuff said. :) Plus Animal Crossing in December (with WiFi support) and Metroid Prime Hunters next year (also with WiFi support). Touch-screen FPS FTW! Now to get myself a wireless router...

According to Internode, Telstra claim the routing issue has been fixed yet I'm still experiencing 90+ ms pings (I'm on Nightcliff exchange). So either Telstra is lying or we have another issue on our hands. I re-opened my ticket with Internode but the guy said he couldn't do anything because Telstra don't consider h…
Quote from Seqo: Node's great... but I don't agree with their new plans changes. (Not the SOHO plans.. which are cool - the fact they scrapped the plan that I'm on and a anumber of others) iinet seems very good and has similar pings to Node's game servers as Node does. You do realise you get to keep the plan you are…
