Best Torrent Client

uTorrent (cbf finding the micro).

Uses a heap less memory and took me a couple seconds to setup. Seems very stable too.

ill give it a shot, i like azueus but yes it uses alot of memory.

no that would be just the countless looping threads in the background in java writen by some in-experenced java programer who has come from C or C++.

I use Azureus but it does have a tendency to occaisionally chew up every cycle my PC has.

i use bitcomet atm, its good but i have used utorrent before and is awesome
it is a STANDALONE exe - no install required and runs just as well if not better than most others...

i have been using bitlord and it works great for me

bitlord is exactly the same as bitcomet - same gui with a couple of extra buttons and a name change -
both are great bittorrent clients

Not to mention wonderful memory leaks, woeful automatic updates, resource limitations, and stupid amounts of stupid. I put up with it for a year, dont think I'll go back.

Azureus = Java
Java = System Resource Hog

sorry but Azureus really does kinda suck

I use Azureus, it works as long as you're not doing much of anything else on your computer at the time.

I will be moving away from it when I could be bothered.

Seqo - I was exactly the same (ie, will do it when I could be bothered). Well, now that I've done it (gone from Azureus to utorrent) I strongly urge you to "be bothered".

Being so small, I thought it was going to be barebones basic. Wrong.

Make the change.
