Because it's not a fact. Chuck has been on talk shows laughing about the 'facts' and talking about some of his favourites.
He's against some random bloke profiteering off his name, however.

Yeah he doesnt give a rats bout the "Chuck Norris Facts" and finds them amusing. He even read out his favourite Top 10 on Jay Leno or some other talk show once. The problem is this guy is using Chuck Norris' name to make himself famous/rich without his consent.
I know if some random dude used my name to get rich without asking me I'd be pretty pissed off too.

Chuck actually does find them humorous - he was flattered by the attention. He said that on his own website. But yes he sued Pengiun Books for publishing the book based on trademark infringement.
I still think he's a half-wit though, and that's because of another response to the internet facts meme...
