Post 5

I saw radav steal these from the back of a truck...

Post 6

Were these offered for sale a couple of weeks ago??? (not on here obviously)

Post 7

Starting from the first reply......
No, yes, manufacturer, Vange do you want your plumbing gear back :P, and finally NFI this is my first post of the gear.

If anyone is actually interested just ask or I wont bother selling them here.
I thought I would give you guys a chance to get gear at "cost", but all I get is stupid replies.

Not worth freightin here from Melb if not interested

Sorry, mine was meant to be sensible. I was offered three almost identical IBM's about 2 weeks ago here in Darwin, all supposedly legit. When I said I'd take em all as long as they were kosher, they weren't on offer. Most likely someone beat me to the punch tho.

Can we get a tax invoice made out in our names, or is it just the receipt?

3rd party invoice. oh yeah . sounds legit.

for 1850 i's want a damm good laptop for that, with a valid invoice and reciept and usual warranty.

Manufacturers warranty? Clearly they haven't come from an established Australian business. I'll assume they've been imported or stolen, or both -- in which case I'd be very careful about your footing with this arrangement from the person you're getting them from.

If you can knock up an invoice in my name for tax purposes and are willing to drop the price to "500, I'll probably take one off your hands.

Post 13

this is my brother selling them no more bs if your inerested reply other wise he said to you 2 "go'n get ****ed"

:P

Well put bro! :)

The laptops where bought for a contract that didn't go ahead.
The person who selling them is just wanting his money back (as is a friend) and I said some guys here might want some new laptops at cost.

BUT IF I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS BULLSH;T

then forget it.
let some one else get them cheap.
Thank you and goodnight!

Post 15

They had a fair point thinking that with someone wanting to sell 7 laptops, it doesn't happen very often. But now that you've explained the actual situation people will take it seriously. Don't take it personally, there's nothing stupid about wanting to know if the item's are actually legitimate. I believe rec was interested too if you read his post.

So now we know what's going on, back to the actual point of this thread.

Post 16

If Cocky's brother is selling it, it's definately dodgey. Steer clear people. :P

if you're not prepared to justify the sale, don't sell it. getting your panties twisted because someone wants to verify the authenticity and legality of the sale is a sure way to convince them to spend their money elsewhere.

Post 18

Paladin not your place to say anything so keep it closed and dont bother saying something back to me or ill delete it.

and rec special price for you ...double!

:P

There is justification and then there is the posts I have recieved here!
Not one person asked why?!
ONLY THEY MADE A STUPID COMMENT!

I'm more than happy to give the answers but no one asked!

Pali show me one post that was a perfectly lagit question? other than <_loLLY BoY and the first 3????

Stop making assumptions and ask me!

Post 20

shrug, sell a bunch of laptops, expect people to be curious. flying off the handle is the wrong way to respond, and having your brother act as bully-boy moderator in the thread doesn't help much either.
