Hey guys, I know that this phone was pretty popular back in the day and a lot of you either have one or have owned one so this question is for you guys...
Have you guys had any problems with syncing bluetooth devices with your K750i?
For some unknown reason, the K750i which I have keeps disconnecting from my handsfree device... Now its nothing wrong with the device since it syncs alright with Nokia, LG and Motorola phones and stays connected. I'm pretty sure I got the settings all sweet and I sent it back to manufacturer to see if they could fix it with a firmware upgrade. That didn't work... Sent it back and now they've replaced the phone and it still won't stay connected to the device...
Your help is appreciated on this one guys as this is giving me the total shits
I have a K700i which I bought about 18 months ago. I had a Nokia 6310i prior, which one of the kids mercilessly killed for me. I had a Bluetrek B/T unit for that which worked flawlessly for maybe 12-18 months prior.
When I connected it to the new Sony, it disconnected fairly regularly. (many times a day) Then it wouldn't pair again till I turned off both devices and turned em back on. Finally Eater flashed the phone for me and it improved things a fair bit. It still disconnected, and occasionally wouldn't pair, but it wasn't as often. Anyway the trusty old Bluetrek finally retired itself a couple of months ago and needed replacing.
I bought a Blueant this time and I have exactly the same problems as I had with the Bluetrek. One other problem that exists with both devices, and never existed on the Nokia, is that when I take a call on the earpiece it takes a second or two to kick in, and often I have people asking me if there's anyone there....
I've just put it down to Sony Erricson phones being pieces of shit, and regretting the day I bought this one instead of a Nokia. I wont make the same mistake next time.
Im with jabsy Family has owned 4 Erricson phones had nothing but troubles with the bluetooth incar kits blueant car kits seem to work fine with the nokia phone but not the Erricsons

I use the recomended Sony Ericsson BT headsets, never mised a beat. What is the brand/type/model of teh BT handsfree you are using? Is it in car or personnal?
On a positive for the Sony, we put the boat in a few months ago at Nightcliff, it's a crap ramp and my wife walked in to help hold the boat while I shifted the car. When we were anchored up she put her hands into her soggy shorts and said "here's your keys". She had another grab and said "and your phone too...."
It wouldn't work, it had been underwater for anything from 30 seconds toa few minutes, but I rinsed it under the tap for a while when I got home (nothing to lose) and let it dry. It wouldn't work the next day, so I sat it on a lump of aluminium and put it in the backyard under the hot sun. After a few hours baking, it fired up again.... I still use it today, pity the cooking didn't fix the Bluetooth as well.
Its a generic brand in car bluetooth unit... It's called Visor I believe... We ended up getting a Motorola V3X because they are cheap but still sync better than this SE K750i
