DVD Authoring

Does anyone know the best program to use to author DVDs? I'm trying to get .avi and .wmv movies onto a DVD, with a menu and all that jazz.
Currently been trying DVDStyler, but it seems to put the audio in the wrong place for some reason.
Any recommendations?

Clone DVD or Nero Ultra Edition.

Best are semi-professional authoring tools, as opposed to easy to use home-user authoring tools. The former tend to have a high learning curve.

Nero Ultra Edition or their latest retail...simple and extra effective...I have about 800 reasons to say so :)

yeah u cant go past nero - latest version is NERO 7 Ultra/Premium RELOADED
(ultra and premium are exactly the same, premium is the US version and ultra is EUR vervion). Reloaded has Blu-Ray and HD-DVD support
