Wireless Explorer Optical

I bought a wireless xporer optical, and it's shit, there is a delay between when you move the mouse and when it moves on the screen and before someone pipes up and says it's a wireless expect it your wrong because the wireless logitech is fine cause I tested it (after I got the microsoft) any suggestions greatly appreciated, oh and running tests it matches the refresh Hz of my normal mouse fine

go to ur mouse settings and use the accelerate the mouse!!!

Ok I knew this would happen, here is the problem, I ran a mosuerate program on the mouse to check it out, this is what the reading loks like

it is eratic and not stable at all

The Explorer 3.0 Wireless (released recently) sucks penii through the eyes of any gaming platform.
You need to grab yourself a logitech dual optical or explorer 3.0 WITH a cord.

Ha - Sif my Explorer 4.0 isn't better then the 3.0 [Blocked image]

Most other microsoft products I have had have worked fine, I took back the mouse and paid an extra $90 and got the logitech wireless optical freedom (mouse and keyboard) and it seems to be working very well, does anyone have any idea of how to increase the Hz of the mouse, it is a usb converted to ps2 connection and even if I run it in the USB i still only get 50Hz, any suggestions would be good, my microsoft intellimouse optical with cord got me 125HZ

There is no way possible to increase the 50Hz.. it is capped by the transmitting frequency of the RF unit..

I also bought a wireless optical by logitech..

It sucks for fps gaming..

So it will B delegated to my linux box, so I can sit back and watch films, etc.

I have started using the mouse for gaming agai tonight, and although I am running a crap system and graphics card, it does not seem to be performing to bad, considering the amount of money I paid for it I will definitely be giving it a good chance, I found it responds better if you use it on a clean sheet of a4 paper then just anything.

Anyway back to the topic... The Logitech Cordless MouseMan Optical RULE!! =) Especially since they also have the 5 year warranty were the MS ones only had the 12months, that was one of the main reason’s why I got the Logitech.

back to the topic, as long as your happy with what you have, why bother messing with it? though I don't much like the idea of cordless mice (mouses? [Blocked image] ) but thats cause I have some experience with RF devices and interferance.

Yeah meph, thats why I returned it and stuck with my intellimouse optical cord! Which gives me 125Hz
