i never had any nextg mobile downtime today, have been using it fine all day
i rang them earlier tonight to change my data pack, and got through straight away...
hmmm...
maybe it was the gsm network that was down?

I was on NextG internet pretty much all day, no problems till I needed to reset the modem about 15 mins ago.

"un officially" the fault was msc based and affected wcdma for about an hour and was limited to voice service only, data was still functioning

Telstra outage yesterday 'biggest problem so far'
Telstra Northern Territory corporate affairs manager Libby Beath says the Territory-wide outage of its 3G and half its 2G network yesterday is the biggest problem she has seen so far with the service.
Mobile phones across the Territory and into South Australia lost coverage for an hour between 2-3:00pm AEST due to a signalling problem.
Ms Beath says the networks were restored relatively quickly after the problem was identified.
"We're working towards getting it as a replacement for our CDMA network by January 28 and it's good that these sort of issues come up," she said.
"We know that things are working... we can fix things."
