Attention: Internode ADSL Customers on Casuarina Exchange

As the title says, i'm looking for Internode ADSL customers on the Casuarina Exchange that are having problems with the service. I am having dropout issues and packetloss, and when i called node, they suggested if i can find more people that are having the same problems on the exchange with node, to call them up and tell them about the problem and what exchange they are on.

I was told that nothing can be done about the issue at the moment as it's an isolated issue, but if more people start having this problem, Internode said they would log it with Telstra and have Telstra check the exchange out.

As of now, there is no ticket number that i can really get you guys to quote, but the guy from Internode said that if it becomes a more widespread issue, there would be a global ticket number that we could all quote when having issues with the Casuarina exchange, so lets all get on the phone and let Internode know about the problems if you are having any.

Also, please post here if you are having problems, so i can keep track of how many people are having issues, and if you are going to/have called them. Please let me know also.

Thanks, HeLLshEEp.

That sucks that you are only getting 3mbit, but it's great that there are more people have trouble on the Cas exchange, Internode seem to think it could be something wrong at the exchange, so the more people that are having problems, and report it.... the more chance of telstra going to check it out. =D

my dropouts have started again

Getting a small amount of loss atm. Cant play wow for long as packetloss = DC....

Also having lots of trouble with bittorrent downloads, they are working nice and fast then they stop all together and have to wait for them to speed up all over again.

**** you telstra. Fix your shit or get out.

Yeah, i was hoping my firmware upgrade would fix the problem but it hasn't started having dropout issues again, also...i've noticed that i seem to be having packet loss occasionly when i do traces to certain sites, or game servers....and the packet loss always seems to be on the internode loops...I am not sure what this means, i've talked to internode but they claim everything is fine on there end.

Telstra wont do jack. I've been on to them for so long about fixing Howard Springs that I've given up....

I have given up aswell. Just had the sudden urge to curse telstra.

One day when they go down the shitter (and they will), I will do everything I can to make it a National holiday. Will call it, "Haha-Telstra-u-suck-n00b day"

Post 18

Once again, for everyone having troubles with issues in darwin, please notify internode about it, so they can tell telstra to get the **** down to work and fix there shit, why the hell can't node own the exchanges? Man, imagine that...Best connection ever.
