Hey guys, I've gotten a lot of feedback on this image, and thought I'd share it for those who'd like put it on their desktop.

http://www.ecande.com.au/camgear/_MG_7916.jpg

The image is 1.3mb in size, but shouldn't effect too many people... Resolution is 1920x1200.

EDIT:
I've had quite a bit of interest in this image as a post, and am currently working on sizes larger then 17" (prices, on calibrated prints that aren't too expensive) however A2+ sizes are okay at $45 including postage.
These are on Centurion Silk Fineart paper (semi gloss) 260gsm.
I quite like the feel of the paper, and it suits this image rather well. I'll provide average colour for borders if you wished to get it frames. They'll all be numbered as well by hang on the back, as well as signed by me.
If you'd like one, they're print on demand and you can PM me. Please be patient however, as my computer is having motherboard issues at the moment, which should be resolved by the end of the week. Hopefully if the orders are in before Friday, they can be there next week assuming Aus Post can keep a good schedule prior to Christmas. Exact final measurements will be up this Friday. for those who want to arrange framing prior.

EDIT2:
That little signature in the bottom left will not be in the print. ^_^

Seriously though, nice pic dude. Lightning shots are hard to get at the best of times, let alone GOOD lightning shots.

Post 11

Good photo, some more definition of the city would be good but great shot non the less.

Post 12

They're houses... I couldn't give you more without a telephoto. ^O^ And then you'd not get the lightning. ^_~

Post 13

Saw this on OCAU, as you know.. Loved it then, still love it now :)

Post 14

Sweet pic!

Post 15

I'm still waiting for:
1. Lightning, and regular lightning at that. None of that hide-behind-clouds shy lightning either. The fork has to be visible.
2. Night/dusk time of day.

Looks like you got all of that!

Post 16

The harbour apparently got a really good view of the storm in that photo apparently.

We've been getting storms daily out my way.

Post 17

nice photo dude. great effort :)

Post 18

just curious what filter did you use for that shot?

Post 19

No filters. A little post processing in Lightroom, but nothing excessive.

Post 20

So was that, Tripod mounted + bulb + shutter release remote + waiting?
Or are you really freaky deaky fast :P

Awesome pic man, I really want to get one of those one day when I can be bothered to get out there just before it rains because getting expensive gear wet would make me cry a lot...

Post 21

nice photo :)

i love lightning shots :D

Post 22

lol customers love it man always commenting on it, woulda looked nicer on the 42" though :( I miss it so much :(

Post 23

Customers can buy it for $45 in print form. ^_^

Not poster, but propper 16.5" print. (A2+)

Post 24

Just a quick bump for this image... It's been pretty successful sell for me, if anybody would like to buy an A2 print of it (fine art print, not just a cheapo print), I'm selling them for $45. If you're interested, let me know.

Post 25

epic photo, top effort imo.

Post 26

Considering this as a xmas present. I have a secret santa with $50 being the max. Can you do it at that price incl. frame? Big ask I know :)

Post 27

haha waz about to ask how much for it framed or backed at the very least?

Post 28

I'll check those prices out today... will be a huge ask at 50 though... I'll see what can be done.

Post 29
