Weird graphical errors and poor FPS with GeForce 5200 in TF2

This is being played on an Nvidia GeForce 5200, with a 1.8Ghz CPU. The FPS was about 9 - 12, as you can see in screenshots;

So, is there any way for me to play it in DX9, with a decent FPS, and Phong... of course.

Oh, I thought I'd mention, when I load up the menu on this computer, the overlay (video settings and other menu's) lag terribly. So is there a way to fix that? Thanks. :)

I hear about lots of TF2 issues with people running GeForce 5200's cards.

The only suggestion I have is to ensure you're not using 71.89 drivers - people seem to have some success with 66.93, but often not later releases.

Your frame rate will still be woeful (it's a terrible graphics card), but hopefully it should resolve those graphical anomolies.
