So who the hell is Tim Sweeney, Mark Reign and Mike Caps.
CliffyB is their lead designer, and had the original ideas for Gears of War (their most successful game) but he isn't the boss. Rod Ferguson is also as much a part of gears incredible success, as he spent ton of time making sure the themes and ideas were persistent through the whole game, and the design of the logos, iconography and almost all the PR work for the game still fit the original design documentation. I've actually spoken to Rod Ferguson about all of this, and it was such an eye opening experience about launching an IP, and making sure things all mesh together.
CliffyB is also known for spouting a lot of shit, and not thinking things through.
