I have recently bought and installed an ATI HD3850 AGP card but when I download and try to install the latest Catalyst Display Driver 8.3 I get a message saying something like "setup could not find any compatible hardware or software and will now exit". I am running XP Home, and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so where can I find the right drivers for this card?

Have you tried reinstalling the chipset drivers first? Have you uninstalled the old drivers first? Also have you tried manually updating the drivers via device manager?

If its the Sapphire one, their website has the Cat 3.4 Drivers for HD 3850 AGP - Clicky Sapphire
Powercolor has Cat 3.1 for HD 3850 AGP - Clicky Powercolor
