I personally for 10 meg conection i would pay upto $300 a month for it.

i would pay 300 a month for adsl2+ annex m with a large quota.....
1.7MB/s is more then 10Mbit also. Whats your host on?

wouldn't ever pay more than "00. concidering what others can get in other countries.
like i found out in singapore. unlimited 8mbit for $50 a month. why should i pay "30 for 40gb?
would be nice having this connection at home though :P

I used to get those speeds here in Darwin at a clients site....
Then they moved the link to Melbourne, now the Darwin site has to go thru Melbourne and it'd be lucky to meet 1.5mbit ADSL.

At my old address with internode I was paying $60 a month for 1.8MB/sec speeds. It was a low-quota ADSL2+ plan though (20GB I think?).

i DO get those speeds. i pay "96/mo for it (60/60 cap). so clearly. i'm prepared to pay at least $200 ;)

Im switching to cable soon. My neighbour gets 2.5mb/second and has the same cap/cost per month as I do on my ADSL2 which caps at like 500kb/s due to distance from the exchange. That's all the encouragement I need.

Eh. I'd pay $30 for a DSL that downloads at around 230KB/s.
I pay $5.99 for DSL that goes between 12 and 195KB/s right now.(Sprint messed up the bill a few too many times, so as an apology they gave us cheapo DSL.)
But yeah, I'm tired of it deciding to stay at around 32. So I'd gladly pay around $30 or so. I'd really like this connection I read about called OC-12. but $600... Kind of steep.
