Ok. I'll write this seperately so I don't have a post with both boobs and bombs.
Despite the attack having 'ended', this is quite a scary show of force by the Russians. With the US attempting to rapidly rollout missile bases across Europe you've got to ask yourself whether we're heading for another cold war. Despite the US assurances that the bases are to be setup as 'defence against attack from Iran', PM Putin has said in no uncertain terms that the Russians have taken it as an offensive motion by the USA. Whether or not Russia has any capability to win a military confrontation, it doesn't seem to be stopping the rhetoric.
Just what we need. More f*cking war.

I hate it even more when people don't use the quote tags and you think you're reading someone's opinion and not a quote. Then you get all the way through and realise that it must have been a quote, so you have to re-read it to take it in the context of a quote...

Given that many American's constantly prove that they know nothing outside their own country - it wouldn't surprise me... Consider this. How many American's have you met in Australia? Compared to people from other countries? I'm from Darwin and we get a HEAP of tourists there. I've met heaps more Canadians than Americans... Considering the population of the US you'd think you would see more of them about...

Russia is throwing it's weight around a again to bully former states. This seems like history reapeating itself again. Anyone remember the cutting of gas to the Ukraine and then Europe by Russia? Ukraine then like Georgia started building a pipeline to Iran also.

All I've heard in the Media is that Russia are the aggressors and they are to blame.

Hmmmm... this is an interesting interview with Vladimir Putin. It really seems to shed some light on what happened - at least from the Russian's perspective... Apparently only a cut down interview aired in the states, although the whole thing was shown on Russian TV. Now there's talk of CNN being kicked out of Russia for 'censoring'.
