Anyone know where I can get a DVI-A splitter up here??? I need to split a PC HDMI output to two monitors.
Needs to be DVI-A, not DVI-D

I think you'll find most DVI connectors are in fact DVI-I, which has the pins for both the analog and digital signals. But, hang on, if you were splitting HDMI out, why would you want DVI-A only? You won't find it, I'm afraid, as analog signals rarely go over HDMI unless specifically set up to.
If that's what you need to do though, you'll find it increasingly difficult as analog and digital signals do not go together well. Go do a Google search - many people want to do this and often conclude the only method is to spend hundreds of dollars on scaling devices.
Yeah sorry my bad.... Even thought I double-checked my post before posting...
I wanted to split a DVI signal to send one end to a dvi input on a monitor that does 1920x1080 and send the other to a DVI TV.
I removed a card from a HP today that had the onboard 15pin vga and one dvi via PCIe and replaced it with a dual head card PCIe, once I did this I lost the onboard analogue vga.
Anyway i need to split the hdmi DVI port into two. To make sure I get things going I ordered a PCI HDMI card just in case I couldn't find a splitter. I can always return/resell the PCI card if I do find the splitter.
Hmm Interesting. I've never seen a DVI Splitter that does less then 4 outputs. so you wanna project the same image onto two different screens? or Multiscreen Two monitors with a extended display?
Wierd setup, I need to display to three screens, with screen 2 and 3 showing the same pic.
I put in 2 dual head cards to the PC, using 3 of the 4 outputs. I'm sure there's some software I can use somewhere, just need to find it.
hmm would be interesting to find out how you hook it up in the end ^_^
