You need to have bought Vista within the last few months and obtained an "upgrade coupon" at the time of purchase. It was part of a deal to stop people waiting for 7.

You definitely got scammed on the postage.

Did a nude asian schoolgirl courier deliver it to you personally or something??

Post 11

Just so you are aware, it wasn't $232 with $32 shipping, it was $259 with $5 shipping, it was just split that way to make it appear cheaper than everyone else when it was really the exact same price.

Use your university Email address here. http://www.microsoft.com/student/discounts/itsnotcheating/default.aspx and you will be able to buy an upgrade version online. About $60 from memory, I lent my address to DarthDVD.
