I've never installed the software and all my buttons work without a problem in every game... The wonders of Windows XP. [Blocked image]

Post 2

I live by the rule of NEVER install mouse software.

I have the same mouse, everything works sweet ( Win2K ).

Post 3

i installed the drivers that came with it (4.0 version i believe) and find that during cs i would shoot one shot and reload.. This is rather annoying as you could understand.. Has anyone else had this problem ?

I think Crazy has ... I believe it has something to do with the software as Neo has one and has not installed the software..

i have one, have installed the software, and dont have the problem.

Post 5

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but you'd think the intelli eye mouse (being microsoft made) would have drivers that would work with a microsoft based operating system wouldn't you.

*chuckle* I was simply observing that if two products that come from the same company aren't completely and totally compatible, then something is definately wrong [Blocked image]

one day I'll be able to afford a new machine, and then I'll start to play with linux [Blocked image]

well i have intellipoint 4.1, (i will have that update at the evo lan this weekend)

I never have any probs with it, and in fact i am in love with my Explorer 3.0
when i got it from crusher, all i could do was drool. what a BEAUTIFUL mouse.

I use the software cos it enables you to reprogram the side buttons, and its got scroll wheel acceleration. (i do a lot of surfing)

never had any problems with it apart from the classic in q3 where if you change the settings, the wheel dont work any more [Blocked image]

why bother with a new machine? anything manufactured in the last 4 years ought to be suitable. X isn't learning linux so you won't need it [Blocked image]

lol upgrade my current toy, and use my p2 333 as a linux box - only have one puter at the moment, and its just a *little* dated

mind you, I still keep up with all you rich kids when it counts [Blocked image]

If someone is willing to donate an old pentium to the "Teach Meph how to use Linux properly" fund, I'll give you a non tax deductible receipt for it and thank you profusely *grin*
it sucks to be poor [Blocked image]

Flamm the problem beleive it or not is not in the drivers but in the user and his mouse.
I have a walk and reload key bound to my two side buttons. What I find is that on the odd occasion you tend to hit the wrong one or you apply pressure to the wrong space and whacko the other key activates.
When you think about it mice were not invented for fast pace action FSP games.......
Once again the software is not at fault as i have had the same problam occasionally on all software versions.
