I've got 2 of these, great screens. I just tried to lower rez to increase the refresh, and at 1280x1024 it would take 75 hz, but i dont know why you would want to do that. once youve seen its natural rez, you wont want to use any thing else. I Believe Kagetsu has/had the 2709 model? he was trying to sell one a while ago with a system?

No, you can't increase the refresh rate on these monitors even at reduced resolution... IPS monitors in general are not designed with that pixel pitch to be greater then 60hz.
