cs_bigwong would be an interesting addition to the servers quite a good hostie map and plays quite fast with many routes through to the hosties.

Here is a good map that I found somewhere. Howie has it and is reviewing it so we my see it at DGA13.

de_museum. T's have to blow up the Dinosaurs.
Pretty good map, with lots of corners and cover to hide behind.

OK guys this is the score - if you can provide me DIRECT links (not sites, links directly to the file) for any map I'll put it on the server.

Very busy at the moment and dont have time to chase maps down, but will be able to do it if I have a good link.

So, hunt down and fire away. (and no "ftp.somemapserver.com <- just get them all" type stuff - just individual maps).

It would be great to have museum on the server as well as suntower and assault_upc ;)

I found a great knife map while playing overseas. It's based on the movie Fight Club and is your basic map but would be a good break to the usual maps of Dust, Assult etc.

I used to play on chaos all the time and once I get my connection back I will prolly start playing there again. The reason I used to play there is because I was so sick of the same maps and they had all different maps and if you remember I did try firstly with server3 to run a similar setup with all good maps but no standard ones but no one ever played on it so I changed it to the *bRoKeN* server instead. The idea is good but the concept is doomed without support from other gamers. What I would like to have done is slowly put in quality maps like de_village into the actual map cycle so ppl would be forced to play it, then realise its a great fun map and once that happens introduce another great map into the cycle etc.

This is a topic that is being discussed in the admin forum at the moment.

I will bend the sacred veil of privacy ( laughs ) and get your input as well..

The mighty barbarian himself ( EoS ), and I as a much smaller, but far more charming conspirator are going to have a play.

What I have proposed is a locked session to trial different maps. So

I want U lot to give me a hand.

I want 6 maps. Not 6 from everyone, just a finally agreed to list of 6 maps only.

These with a couple of others will be trialled by the admin staff ( cos we can ).

And then we will have a few invite only sessions on octa 2 for the fun of it.

If we all fall in love with the new maps, we will consider implementing them.

both reasonable downloads but look like nice maps.

de_rock is based on the movie the rock with ct's coming thru the sewers adn the T's blowing up where the missles are launched from. looks nice.

big wong is a quick little hostie map good fun though. especially now hosties are alittle better at following.

might need a few players on the server for de_rock but bigwong is an any number of players map.

What about cs_docks, that was the best map. I used to cain in it.

But i agree we definatly need to change it up a little more...there only so much of aztec and dust2 you can play.

take away dust....dust2 rocks but dust...is so... done.

Played museam at the lan nice map but a little big and im only a 56ker. Id like maps which dont lag me up much

arabstreets is on the DGA servers and people allways ask me whats the name of it, they like it ... *hint* sly:)

I would like to see cs_thunder back in the rotation.

I would also love to see cs_blitztowers on the server. Great fast and furious fun.

cs_relex is good in small doses too.

OK ppl a new map pack will be in the news area soon..

Gamers Underground Server 1 ( OCTA 1 ) will have non standard maps on it. Reason being that that is the locked community only server.

Today I am organising a Beta days map pack

Docks
Highrise
Tundra
Arabstreets
Mansion
Estate
Tiren

Ok someone post a few more beta map requests. NOTE I said BETA map requests.

Once we are happy that everyone has downloaded the map pack and isnt gonna have to DL it from the server.

We will add them into the rotation..

de_facility can be a truely evil map if U know the trick as a CT

Yes, quite an ELECTRIFYING experience!

I was playing on a server the other night with some friends and they had a mod of arabstreets, called simply arabstreets2 it is basically the same from what i saw but it has a hole in the wall near the little gate and power generator thingy, it seemed to be a fast map and easy on the server.

Also as i said before how about assault_upc and suntower, no other server has them anymore and i reckon they were two great maps, i also liked docks when we played it for eminence (we owned fodder in that one :D)
