I think Intel or some other company/person got a 2.2 GHz P4 up to 4 GHz but it aint worth it unless your the sort of person who has that shit as your hobby (which im not atm but i might be when i earn money  )

Going from 2.2GHz to 3GHz gave an extra 4.5fps, WOW. Martok is right, I remember reading about some slurry that overclocked a P4 to 4GHz, again WOW. The P4 is clocked high but it's not pumping out the goods (OPC). The P4 is revving but looks like it's still in neutral. :?

The P3 1.26 is the same performance as a P4 1.8, so just get a P3 1.4 or better yet an AthlonXP. Soon AMD will release a processor with SSE2. When that happens what will Intel have to brag about in the P4? It’s value for money (yeah right).

My friend has a 1.5GHz P4 with a GeForce2 GTS and his computer won't play Star Trek Armada or Total Annihilation without being servery sluggish. The GTS or the rest of his system isn’t the problem, it’s definitely the CPU.
