I have only seen the episodes that were on SBS a few years ago, havent been able to find the movies :(

I'm interested. What format are these in Mpeg, Avi, Divx? Are they English dubed or subtitled and in Japanese? I have the Rammstein video (Engel) which has a fight scene from EoE and others from the series about Auska in Mpeg format and is about 70mb.

i have the entire robotech series (36 episodes) in high quality divx (~400mb per episode), and i'll be happy to burn and distribute them at the established rate of "0/cd.

so anyone who wants to send me $360 i'll send you robotech in divx. ;)

Hmmm 36 episodes burnt @ 60cents a CD is a investment of $21.60
Labour @ 24x burn comes to 4 minutes per CD, factored to say $25 a hour is 2 hours $50.

Wear and tear of the burner we can say it has a life of what ?? 1000 burns with a cost of "00. So thats 10c a CD.

Grand total is in the region of $75.20

So thats still a quite tidy profit of $284.80

or roughly 400%.

Damn I gotta get into this racket too.. Urmm Racket is the wrong word.. How about business venture ??

Actually, you forget the following details:

my burner is a 4x scsi cd-r, therefore burn time is in the vicinity of 20 minutes per full cd (lets say 15 per episode). then there was the 20-odd hours i spent actually ripping the episodes from dvd, compressing them, synching audio etc.

The more i think about it, the more i don't think asking $360 is unreasonable. but maybe thats cuz i get to charge people lots of money for my time elsewhere, weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I would gladly get Anime on divx as in the NT DVDs are the only bloody way! THEY ARE KILLING OFF VHS! I would but I'll only get the 2 CDs for know. Besides my Damn PC is on the brink since my upgrade and dosen't even power up!
