BTW: We did this against Adam Internet a few months back. We whipped them 20:0 first map and then they wouldn't play the second. Mostly [D][D] guys (old established SA clan) :)
What is chariots web site??? How many servers do they have??? Are there admins selected on skill or maturity? Do they have forums?? I guess I'll just go look for it. :)

btw If octa is full at any stage feel free to game on cs2.chariot.net.au battles are generally in good spirit there aswell and the occassional late night pug is held which is always alot of fun.
Agree, I have been playing there for a few weeks now and they seem a good bunch.

Seriously he is f'kn awesome, was playing against him a couple of weeks ago, 60-2 legit as CT on assault...was watching him, good ping, amazing reactions. And I killed him once..:)
I think O4 should win, the quality of players is better on O4 than most other servers, the average skill of the top 6 O4 guys should be better.
*shiver* just watch out for hippie...i've seen loki play an 80-10 map and I think this guy was better.
Don't go in to confident octa4 as chariot will be strong and give you a good run. (in the admin war v's adam internet they was very confident and then very supprised to only win 3 rounds).
Swerve and Nexy are going to be the chariot team captains/selectors so we are already moving to get a team together so let us know when your team is ready and then we will set a date and make sure all other players can give it a watch on hltv or whatever.
Me I'm looking forward to it the two teams will be stronger than most the teams on GA ladder I is thinking.
Their admins were never the best players on their servers, and their community is nowhere near as large as they used to be before they banned Telstra ADSL and cable IP's. (not banned anymore)
When I used to play there often, it would be 50% full of Dirty Dozen boys anyway, and a now dead clan MoW.
It was a rare thing their stats had anyone outside those clans in the top 10.
Chariot admins can sort of lay claim to killing MOW although not the intention as caught there leader with ogc through csg (he claimed installed for cousin to use and he never used it) sorta made a few of their members leave. Agreed they are not the best but everyone (mainly vocal adam players) were picking them to beat us. I was smashed when we played them and don't remember the war at all except I did see a screeny and I was over 1:1 so I figure they sucked. Also nexy was just running around with a scout in the end :)
Adam now have 3slots open to all and the rest reserved for saix so still not the busiest server.

I not playing (damn need more skills) but sounds a tad early as swerver's bd is night before so not sure he will be up that early and neither will I for that matter and I wanna watch. I would suggest a later time slot.

Agreed with sly Ebola and i went there for some late night ownage the other night great playin there and to see some of the octa crowd migrating to a goodsister server.
a few of us have migrated here in the past aswell :)
and definately good to see some of the octa boys and girls down on our southern server at times. Not as close a community as here but still alot of regulars who should handle themselves with some maturity as long as you take some of the comments in the way they were intended (jokingly 99% of the time :P )

this gonna be a good war me be thinking should be abit of fun to watch. Some really good players going head to head. Just gotta find a server to host the hltv as ours is hosted on the cs box (only box we got) and if too many are on that hltv it might lag the server and we don't want that so gotta find another server that hltv ppls can connect to :(

Can i suggest, if its not too much trouble, that another forum section be opened up for the duration of a week or so to orgonize team strats? That is of course, if it isnt too much trouble.
I got some nice utilities that'll make us some floor plans of the maps. We need to work together on this, and we'll kick ace.
Ahh yes OD - If you could be as kind as to setup a private forum for those 9 PLayers (for a week or two), it would be greatly appreciated :D
Also I have been informed the Soccer World Cup FINAL will be on this Sunday aswell. And with a high possibility of a Brazil / Germany game, its a Match I can't miss. Iam not sure what time it is, but hopefully it wont be too much of an issue.
I play more regularly on Chariot because of the better ping, and there is usually poeple playing in it most of the day, where as Gamers Underground is only populated from 6pm onwards.
The ping difference is probably also the reason for my slightly better k/d ratio on Chariot. Anyway, the point is, I helped form the GU/Octa4 community almost two years ago, and continue to contribute and participate. Hell, I've only been back in SA 10 months.
I see no reason why I should be playing for Chariot instead of GU at this point.
I not sure on mentasms post but my original was just to stir alittle. great to have ya in the game even if it is for the opposition (not really I play there aswell) and the more good players the better for us less talented spectators I be thinking.

I honestly dont thing Rec considers himself a member of the chariot community..And I would be supprised to find otherwise..
Hell he has done the web graphics for the last 2 community sites we have had..

I know just about everyone here @ GU.. A fair few I have had the privelege to meet personally.. And I did class it as that, a privelege.. @ a OCTA SA Lan I have also had the honour to meet other community members here as well as both MenTasm and Swerve..
And @ the last group LAN I have been to I have also met a good slice of the chariot community as well..
I am probably the lucky one, cos out of everyone I have met, I dont really think I have met a bad one. A few are a bit iffy, but not overall bad *laughs*......
The whole freakin lot of U are a good bunch of people. So let both teams scheme their tactics, and meet on the server. And have a game to remember..

I like both communities meself and have met quite a few of the chariot boys and a couple of the octa/GU ppls and cant say there is one I cant stand yet on the whole a good bunch of ppls allround. so i'm with sly have some bets and whatever but remember it is all for a bit of fun.
Yes well @ tension packed moments we arent gonna be talking.. cos ppl will want silence @ that point..
If we talk non stop ALL the way thru it, ppl will just switch off the shout. We intend it to be a value packed addition to the HLTV. Not something that is a replacement to the game..
We will also have the odd bit of music playing quitely ( matrix soundtrack is a must ! )..
We will be talking/ taking the piss during the rounds...
The side swaps and map changes will be solid chat with music playing in the background..
There will be shout outs and plugs.. Stirs and laughs @ all the players expense..
Some Opie and Anthony as well.. All sortsa stuff..
Don't dispair boyz .... when I was in Singapore a couple of months ago I bought 2 bottles of Smirnoff Blue label ** yes that really is 50% alcohol kiddies ** so there will be plenty of wasted ppl by the time the match is through!
