It is a Half-Life mod that is based on the early beta versions of CS. Focusing on betas 5, 6, and 7, it includes old skins, old maps (cs_docks, cs_iraq, etc.
note: it is a MOD it wont effect ur current CS Directory

I am just wondering, after I have spent countless nights playing CS from darwn to dust, to end up at school and sleep the whole day LOL. Why the hell are people STILL playing CS.
I really cant stand the game, its like watching people play star crack for the 100th time all over again. On another note, this is not to get people pissed off at me and i seriously appologies if you take my post the wrong way. But it just seems like CS is getting old and starting to die compaired to some bloody good games that are out now.

personal preference Chad, you have your opinion and others have theirs...
i still find CS enjoyable every now and again, good with friends...
to some ppl CS has just begun, they are the 'newbies' that will keep playing this game for a while to come.
so as i have said CS is seen completely differently to other people, so 'bagging' CS the way you do sometimes just becomes repetitive and annoying..
although i do see where you are coming from...
however, you stated that you have spent many nights(?) playing CS from dawn till dusk(?) and then you got sick of it...so you once liked it as others still do...
People only stop doing something once one of several things are met.
The task is complete. In CS, that's difficult to measure as the game is, in essense, never ending, and there is ALWAYS someone better then you out there.
They feel that they cannot finish the task (Ie they suck and they know they can never improve, or it is not worth the costs of improving).
They have completed the task to what they feel is the best of their ability and cannot progress any further. In the case of CS, this would be that they feel that they cannot advance their skills any further and they have, for lack of a better term, 'gotten bored of it'.
New people have none of those things. They are not skilled players, all the maps are new and exciting, and they usually havn't fully tried all the weapons and tactics that exist in Counter-Strike. For it's simplicity, it is a very complicating and addictive game, where one strives for perfection and improvement.
