Me and a friend have setup a little recording studio of sorts in my study. So we started learning how to use our new program and everything. Was a great learning experience and hopefully will continue to be ^_^
You can listen to our second attempt at a song here. And yes the piano is slightly outa beat, looong story about that :P

Very effective use of instruments / sounds to give the piece its tone.

Sounds good, nice use of effects. However could use a bit more melody and I don't really like long intro with speaking really starts to drag on.
Bah I added this to GetRight and then forgot about it.. downloaded it today and it doesn't sound too bad. Not something I want to listen to all the time but good. Though I've heard a fair bit of that before. As soon as I heard the voice I knew what I was in for.. still I like it. There's something about it.. meh.
Like Jay I think the voice was probably a bit long but otherwise keep it up.. keep experimenting.. just see what happens.

i like piano pieces (don't mock me or i'll kill you :twisted: ) but yeh have to admit that the voice was quite long and there wasn't enough happening in the background to reinforce it.
you said that it was his story (haha FFX anyone :P) but the story never seemed to move on in the piece, it sort of stayed in the same place....
more melody would be good as well, a strong beat etc etc :)
otherwise catchy and like i said, i like piano pieces :D
Well, it was really an exercise to learn more about the program and basically mucking around, so I reckon it achieved it's goal nicely ^_~ Hopefully some real songs to be made in the future.
PS - I didn't get it from FF, I've only played FF once :P
