I know someone who won't be in any of the comps in Evo now!

Haha. Nah, JK. Thanks for bringing that to light. We'll trust you to keep it off while you're playing online. XD

oh man that is going to make the xabre sell 20 billion cards for that!
all them kiddies who want to cheat but not get banned!

OMG. remember the fued over the asus see through drivers? wow

q3 looks pretty though doesn it.

Post 4

My understanding is the Asus cards have had that for a while....you just need the right drivers... :?:

Post 5

it wasnt the cards, any nvidia card could take those see thru drivers.

all it is is just a transperancy patch, that makes the polygons not solid.

damn.

and that card is cheap as well. mm

Post 6

Yeah but like the Asus drivers, there will be a way to detect and ban those using them.

Oh and BTW.. Odyssey doesnt have that card....yet :)

he runs a VooDoo 5

I personally don't see anything wrong with the inclusion of such features in drivers.. it's just the way it's used. Asus said they included the feature to show off technology and shit.. whether that's true or not it wasn't the drivers that were ruining the game it was the dickheads that were using them to cheat. Once there were ways out there to detect them the problem was solved. They will be easy to detect so it doesn't really matter anyway.

Post 9

But its still a ghey thing for them to include something which can be used as a cheat in multiplayer games.

Saying its ok for them to do is like saying its ok for Microsoft to produce an OS that breaches privacy laws. It just isn't on

Any card can do this if they have the right drivers, the point is that like Asus SiS have them with the default drivers.
