It's about 5:30 and me and my family arrive at the Governor at Hindmarsh (some hotel). We get shown to our seats and start ordering soon afterwards, hmm, lemme see, a choice of two meals, roast beef or chicken... Anyway, the band's a little late so we see the background d00d still setting up. And then Tim Freedman (that how you spell it?) walk in and past me ^_^_^_^_^_^ our food came really quickly for what I expected as the noone has started playing anything yet. But we ate anyway, munch munch munch, pretty tasty ^_^ Then after awhile this Irish bloke walks up with an acoustic guitar, he plays us some music. Tis okay stuff, not much tone but that's probably due to the mixer being setup for someone else. Well he finishes, then we wait AGES with crappy in-between music playing. We look at our watches, almost 8 pm. Must be waiting to start at 8. We were right, at 8:00 T H E W H I T L A M S walk out!!!! W007, the wait has been over!!!

They played for about two hours, playing new songs from their new cd (really good stuff too ^_~) and different versions of their old ones. For Buy now Pay later, they put in this fast little drum beat that you just couldn't resist bopping your head to! Twas fantastic, and then another song the guitarist did a guitar solo, wicked stuff!!

This guy was groovy, he mostly just stood there bopping out his bassy beats, but he had this serious look on him most of the time :(

One of the wierdest guitar players I've seen (though I haven't seen many). He would constantly poke his head out like an ostriche to the beat, and he was all slinky like a snake :P
