hey ya'll. i jsut got a SB live form thor. i i was just needing some help. i didn't get the install CD but i DL some drivers form the creavtive site. it says that up date it to the latest drivers. does this mean i gotta get the standard drivers too?. or cna i jsut install the ones i got.?

If you have Win2k or XP then let Windows install the drivers for you. I upgraded my SBLive drivers and now Star Trek Armada sound is screwed :cry: I have made this mistake once, but I won't do it again.

XP screws up with SB live drivers, best dload from the creative web site, go to the US region though.

yes make sure if u have 2k u get the 2k drivers, and xp u get the xp drivers .. DO NOT use the ones of the cd.

i just got 98. but doesn't matter the drivers i got worked
