I did a proper IQ test 4 years ago. I did really really well :)

There are many variations to IQ tests but basically its mental age/physical age * 100
the one i did was recognising and predicting patterns such as your shown a few consecutive patterns and your supposed to pick the next one.
The patterns are bassed on different things; Numbers, letters, shapes. and really wierd pics.
Never were they asking whats 9*7 or anything like that such as general knowalage.

The strangest thing about it was that you could never be sure u picked the right answer. Ur just supposed to pick one that seems the most correct.

Supposivly its the best way to compair people from different environments.

Yeah 3dMarks are basically for the greatest crunching power. Usually very accurate though in determining stability on quite a few occasions does seem like Mad Onion is falling behind the ball.

The main parallel I was drawing between them is that in both instances, there are too many factors involved for one measurement to accurately reflect the capablities of the complex whole, even more so with humans than with computers.

......hopefully all goin to plan i will be goin to see them. one of my mates is the singer for Plonker. also last time i saw Grinners they RAWKED so hard it wernt funny. plonker are cool too they have good songs like Berrimah SS, Chip Shop Pauline and the alltime classic Wanker Wanker OI OI OI.. 8) they are old school punk and are much fun so if you are going go early and dont miss plonker.... oh yeah... nokturnal are pretty cool as well...
if i do go ill be wearing an Arsenal shirt (sean me mate in plonker is a spurs fan and we won the fa cup, prem. league double this year so it really cuts him :twisted: )

The test on TV was pathetic. If anyone noticed at the end with the age colums that the IQs for the older ppl where heigher then the younger ppl. I dont know who made the test but going by mental age/physical age definition for IQ the older u get the lower ur IQ gets when you get the same answers correct.

Yes i know fletcher...i have known fletcher from b4 his days with Hamble and Crumbs (who are no longer with us :cry: ) .. his online diary? well.... i tend not to read it... as it was causing probs with one of my other friends. for those of you who live up this stinkin way ill give a clue to my identity.... i worked in Curved air music centre in palmo for a few years... on a side note... xaler do rock i have seen them several times.. mostly at Noonamah parties which brings me to somthin else... there is one of those happenin in aboot a month.. 7th or 8th of sept. the flyer is out, so keep an ear/eye out for it.. Eater_of_Souls can vouch for the fun to be had there... but im not sure if he will (his ex-girlfriend is one of the main organizers). anyway gotta go... stil not sure if im gonna get to grinners as i have to fly to arnhemland in an hour and a half then drive back 2morrow... have fun yall 8)

yeah been playing bass couple of years...i think things change as bands grow,... havent heard much of the new rhcp album, but i have heard cool things from it...

i like to think rhcp like incubus... both flea and dirk lance (bass players in their bands respectively) were both slap, groove pop happy in their older albums (its cool!) but now they play more of a "mature" roll in the groups... i actually love the more fuller tone stuff.

rhcp havent really calmed down, that new song, by the way, is a sort of a mix of their old pumpin grooves mixed wif da cruisy stuff....
just imagine if they were playing instead of grinspoon *dreams*.

as they say its ALL GOOD... mix, try new stylez of music... its sort of ironic that my nick is associated wif dat big G, and i dislike r&b :)... i iz gonna be wacked in da ghetto now.
