Haven't played NWN but I've heard it's good

Warcraft 3 is great. Strong focus on tactics, balanced use of combat units, etc.

Well from what ive seen of it (not much cos its too much trouble to play when you have no cursor cos it doesnt like your vid card :)) but anyways it looked awesome, if you like games like Diablo 2, Baldurs Gate and Dungeon Siege then id think its safe to say youll probablly like Neverwinter Nights

Edit your nwn.ini, and change EnableHardwareCursor (something like that) from 1 to 0. That fixes the invisible mouse problem.

Personally NWN looked really but after watching the guy who owned the game shop play it for a while, It started to look really boring so I decided against buying it. Warcraft 3 on the other hand, left me 3 weeks of my life gone, and now I'm still casually playing it online.

Best bet is to find a friend who has a copy of it already and take a peeky.

War 3 rocks for a RTS, NWN is complex and takes a lot of time to get into, its not as straight forward as dungeon or diablo2 you really have to be a hardcore RPG fan for NWN in my opinion, not something you can get on for a quick 30 min play around. I just deleted it of my hard drive as I was playin for about 1 and a half with no progress in any of the quests I had going.

Canadian scy?? Gezzz....all time low. :)

Yeah....same, NWN i couldnt be bothered...haven't got enough time to learn a game, im a little impatient when it comes to that...i just want to get in and start hacking things....i mean dungeon siege i thought was good but thats about the level i'd go to for RPG. WAR3....kicks major buttocks...but you'll find alot of non stratigic ppl whinging cause they cant win with numbers anymore aka starcraft. hahahaha

Valuable information and interesting...

NWN is really a hardcore RPG type game (for Naarsaar). War3, one word 'Polymorph'.

I concur,

When I first saw NWN, it looked like crap - I played through BG2 a few times at least, doing every quest possible, but NWN was just crap in comparison.

WC3 on the other hand, I installed it and the elite Blizzard cinematics were enough to blow me away, let alone the game. After seeing the movies and then playing the game, it looked different (vge), but I soon got used to that, and the game rocked.

Single Player has a VERY good story line - RPG's are know to have deep story lines, but WC3 has just as good a one.

Multiplayer is awesome fun - you can play with almost as many people as you want (In reason, for an RTS), I had a 4v4 yesterday and it was rocking :)

NWN doesn't even uninstall for me - a friend convinced me to play it again and I had to format just to get the POS working :\ Only game I had to do that with before was a leaked T2 :P But since I am head over shoulders into T2, I did it with happiness.
