I could try to do a list for most genres but it would take me days

as i have mentioned somewhere previously i used to work in a music shop....
music is my life blood.... i like most types of music but my main taste is in the heavier end of the spectrum (Slayer, Morbid Angel, pre "Metallica" Metallica Pantera Sys. of a Down +to many more to list)
but i also really enjoy well written well sung songs, (Powderfinger, Alex Lloyd, Ben Harper, Pearl Jam, Crowded House)
you might also catch me listening to Arrested Development, Eminem, or even some classical (some of that stuff written over 150 years ago still has nothing that compares to it today)
i could go on for hours; nay, days about music.
i think ill stop now.

another good one from that one was the cures version of purple haze

Gee, these top10's are getting tricky.....
Im sitting here at work with over 10,000 cd's, so I must think hard, as I love almost anything I hear. Here go's....

1. DAF - Powderfinger. One of their best. Not called "cascading down" as many would believe

2. Mojo Pin _ Jeff Buckley. Truely a loss to the world when he passed on.

3. Raining Blood - Slayer. The ultimate " kill them all and spread their gizzards around" song. SLAYER!!!!!

4. Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead. I love all Radioheads work, but this one sticks in my mind most of all

5. Ride of the Valkyries - Richard Wagner (composer). One of the fine examples of why classical music rocks.

6. Shiver - Coldplay. One reason to buy their first album "Parachutes".

7. Plug in Baby - Muse. Great band, great track.

8. The People - The Music. new band, album due around november. These guys are great.

9. The Drugs Dont Work - The Verve. The song that broke me out of my heavy metal mould, and made me discover a whole world of other music. Ben Harpers live cover is awsome as well.

10. Everything Zen - Bush. Watching them play this at Woodstock 99 on DvD makes it even better.

11. Aliens - Alex Lloyd. Had to add this one. Off his first album (Black the Sun). Very dark and moody song.

Once again, I could go on but I wont. Ten just isnt enough, i need a top 100 at least. :twisted:
