SSBM Tournament

What you reckon i think could be a good idea seems a fair amount of ppl on GU have it/play it. 8)

Please elaborate

a tournament with a bunch of ppl who like playing ssbm to see who is the best and just have fun playing in general

i remember having one for them old n64 wrestling games about 4 years ago we had like 30 ppl playing on different tvs and different consoles it was good fun like a lan without computers. i know im gonna get alot of shit for that last comment :)

please elaborate on SSBM :)

what so you are going to get like 50 people or so on one GC
anyway it whould be unfair match if you were aganist me 8)

Melee does support up to 64 players in tournament mode... but i guess u gotta find a way to keep the other 60 players occupied each round...

i was planning more on a multiple console sort of thing with multiple rounds going on at the same time as winners went up the ladder towards the final.

i mean most ppl who play ssbm have gamecubes and we wouldnt need THAT many just enough to have a fair amount of gameplay going on and the losers can play some monkey ball or something (that game kicks ass) and paragas i would whoop you.... no one touches my shiek

part of this discussion is to try and find out how many ppl would come who would bring gamecube/something to play it on. Cause i wanna find out how feasible this is. 8)
