Last minutes preparations for the weeks 40k tournament have begun! :D

Alien armies will be decking it out this weekend in a mighty battle to see who is the best! Unfortunately the competition is dominated by Space Marines :? (who are too cheesy and boring and the fact they can cream my army has nothing to do with it). lol

Anyway the line up for this weekend includes Tau, the most diplomatic army in the universe, Chaos: Children of Korn the demonic army, Imperial Guard, well they are the humans and are really crap unless you are can play the game well, orks, its interesting to note that there will be two or three ork players in this tournament, one of course will be me with my mad cult of speed getting its first formal fielding (so exciting!), and of course the ever dominate Space Marines. With any luck there will also be representation of the other armies including: Tyranids (anyone watch Aliens?), Dark Elder (Gothic horror, very cool), and I am hoping to a army of Necrons will be fielded as they are the latest release from GamesWorkshop and I would love to see them play.

Anyway the games start at 9-5 on Saturday and Sunday, they will be held at NTU at FATSIS building (ie the one with the Garden thing at the front and were all the cars are parked!!)

There should be a good turn out for the tournament this weekend, last week was the Fantasy tournament and they had a total of 25 players, since 40k is more popular this tournement should rock!!

Because of all the bother I am have edited this part of my topic. I do apologise for the misinformation, however that was the story as far as I knew. I have no quail with Jed, I just think he is the most annoying person in the world to play against in 40K.

So hopefully my army will be ready come Saturday morning... I have to panit like 3/4 squads between now and then as well as complete my army list for registration!!

Wish me luck! :D

I did not miss the Elder, I just have not forgiven them for the last battle! This time its WAR!

Yeah I play Orks: cult of speed, we should battle some time as I am close combat based too and it would be interesting to see how the game would go :D

Post 5

Well if i had a completed army i'd be using Blood Angels, pity i stopped painting them a while back, but im planning on starting again. Although the painting parts the best bit :)

blah! another space marine player!! Is there no end to them?

Hey dr3vil that game may have to wait until the end of the uni semester though! They picked a really bad time for the tournament as exams are only four weeks away (or less) and I have assignments due soon.

God damn uni always ruins my fun :?

Post 11

Maybe Eater should attend and decimate thee with my Titans, titan Killer Tanks, and the 14 or so other imperial gaurd chaos and space marine tanks at my disposal :)

Nah

To much hard work
But if you want a detailed list of gear i have that you can borrow for display or warring please reply in PM to me

Aint the Tau younger then the Necrons? Maybe even the Dark Elder, it was too long ago I can't remember :(

And maybe I could throw my 500 point Dark Eldar.. army/squad thing up to Darwin and hopefully hit someone :D

Post 17

Hmmm... I have my 1k Dark Legion army.

Post 18

Post 19

'sif it wasn't better than Warhammer when it lived.

Got my rule books and my army, may look through cashies for new minatures tho, build a Barhaus or Mishima force to loan to visitors.

Post 20

can someone tell me if WarZone and Cronopia are still played. I used to play them at the uni.

Post 21

The company that publishes the rulebooks has gone out of business. Don't think they sell the minatures anymore.

However, after exams are over, if you're up for a game of Warzone then lets go!

Zenith has a Cybertronic army, but I don't know how if he'll want to play.

Post 22

hehe i have cybertronic too. and some bahus

Post 23

Will have to check cashies incase someone has traded in their old set.

Post 24

Post 33

Cool thanks Paladin, just got it but havent got the time atm to mess with it :)

Post 34

I always use paint for quick small and simple diagrams, Photoshop 7 for greater needs and work and Illustrator when vector drawings/diagrams are needed.

Post 35

Painting...

Yeah, one of the great joys of 40k.

Ummm, I get my friend to paint my models, well the ones I want to look really cool anyway.

I to slack to do it all myself

Post 36

If anyone has any time on there hands and wants a cronopia battle i woul LOVE.. to play... can easy field up to 1500 points of devout (thats a lot in cronopia... )

Post 37
