For all the folk out there who are into UO (not many, I know), here is a little info on the new upcoming "age of shadows" update.

i play it and i really think that the new addon is just so OSI can get more money casue IMO they are going bankrupt
how can they be going bankrupt dont a shitload of ppl pay them monthly just to play online?
they lost a shit load of people when pub 16 came in
but still making money monthly from the ppl they have should be more then sufficient
here's 3 things that say OSI are going bankrupt
Able to change name for $25.95 US
able to buy chars from OSI $39.95 US
New Add-on
IMO they are going bankrupt and trying to get as much money as they can tough all of that
oh yeah i forgot one i just rembered that OSI have to pay 500 conserlurs 4 years worth of payment you do the math "0hr working 6hrs a day thats a hell of alot of money
keep in mind that there are also free UO servers out there - people with hacked or otherwise unsupported versions of the game - many many people play on these so they don't have to pay the subscription fee
UO rules i played it for liek 2 and a bit years i wanna turn it back on for these holidays or might jusyt use mates account :P

but its 20$ to play a month for us aussies sometime more and sometimes less dependng on the exchange rates
I used to be the king of UO. played it more than you hard core punks ever played CS. I used to play whole weekends non stop.
But then i stopped. :( :? :shock:
They used to talk about introducing the Necro's about 4 years ago. There was so many bugs. Like if the Necro was a PK and he killed your character and then raised the corpse you could not get your self ressed as the game still saw you as alive.
Plus there was the whole new regents needed to make necros spells. The regents where only going to be available on certain creatures. Thats right not availble in the shops. So you can imagine the camping of spawn spots that had these regents spawning. YES! thats correct they even went to the stage of introducing the regents for the necros. that how far along the idea went.
Anyways UO2 was though up and it the whole Necro idea got dumped. Along with heaps of other cool stuff.
I wonder if i should put in an invoice for all the hours i did as a counsellor
on the Oceania shard? :D

yeha i used to play that game soooo much and if i was sleeping i woudl have a stapler on the F12 key either provoking, hiding or minning :P

you should of just used UOAP that way you can do other stuff aswell as macro with out having to let go of the botton
