HOTMAIL=BULLSHIT

has anyone else got the e-mail through (spuossedly) the hotmail staff that says if you dont send the email to everyone on your list they will delete your email account, to see if your active. it is really starting to annoy me!!!!

here are my resons why i feel this is bullshit...

1.hotmail is a freeweb server
2.if they had more users they wouldnt shut down accounts, theyd get more space. so they could charge more for ads
3.if you dont use your account within about a month it goes inactive
4. dont use account 2 months after that your account is deleted
5.the message is an atachment, if it was from the hotmail staff it would appear as a normal e-mail, like they always are.
6.hotmail would send the message to everyone. it wouldnt be forwarded throuh everyone
7.hotmail cant distinguish between normal e-mail activity, and the sending of this message

can anyone else think of other reason

i get one from one freind, who also sends it to evryone one their list (who i also have the majority of on my list) then i get spammed with the same e-mail.
its just a sick joke designed to see how quikly gullable ppl can spread stuff around th world

Avoid adding to email spam and don't send it.

yahoo = 6.0mb limit.
IGN = 4.5mb limit.

ISP email... as big as your hard drives will let you go.

By the way. Do you ever read teh Hotmail FAQ's?
They tell you all about those bullshit spam emails.

and when i click outlook express it collects hotmail - opens messnger and makes me a hot coffee :twisted:

Ever heard of a chain letter? What you received was simply a chain letter from some jerk posing as a Hotmail staff member, trying to trick people into propogating his letter. In what way is Hotmail responsible for a letter claiming to be from them?

That'd be like me jaywalking and then saying I'm George W. Bush, and him getting the flak for it.

Handy tip for ya. If you see ANY email which threatens actions against you if you don't forward the email to someone else you know, delete it. It's a hoax.

This includes so-called "virus warnings" which try and freak you out and then tell you to forward it on to your friends. All hoaxes.
