I bought Neon Genesis DVD set and the movie. Best anime series avalible.
Now thats done, *hijack* whats the next good anime i should get? Ive heard of Cowboy beebop, Ranma 1/2 and Bubblegum crisis (dontcha love the names?) anyone seen em like em recommend them?

Well i own the end of evangelion DVD and i reckon it rocks! thats the only one i have
blue: my gf has and has seen all the one su mentioned there, and she says they all rock, especially ranma 1/2, i watched some of bubblegum crisis, but it didnt appeal ot me that much.

Cowboy Bebop is also highly recomended, especially the movies if u can get em.
Also my another fav has been released on DVD, Beserk.
Also in case you have been livning in a cave.. Every Sun at the NTU around 5pm they screen 2-3 hours of anime.

except for Azumanga Daioh I HATE that series, every time i see the opening credits i think to myself, i am never going to get these 20 mins back...

i'm half way throught exel saga and thats is just well umm if u've seen it yeah.
ledgen of demon womb is good but weird mouths evrywhere and a lot of ummm lets call it loving.
dbz me seen it all basicly but 1 or 2 movies

I tend to stay right away from the movies - unless I have seen the TV series that goes with it. This policy came into action after in counters with movies such as Akira (yes I did suck and I will never believe otherwise), Ledgen of the Overfiend ( :shock: that's all I am *ever* going to say about that) and things like Spriggan and other really out there movies.
These are not what I am interested in.

Hey turbo, is Cowboy Bebop alright to just see the movie, or is there a continueing storyline provided by the series. Which means id be sitting there more entertained by the flashing colours and sounds than the story?

I didnt *really* like cowboy bebob, but i havent seen all of it yet anyhows.
There are lots more that are really worth watching tho, but too many to list.
