Noobie needs help connecting to server!

When i try to join the Ozforces Gu server it says Mature gamers only blah blah sign up at blah blah.

Why is this?

Because it is a locked registered server, if you want to register then all you have to do is click on the reg link at the top of the site. If you've already registered then you'll need to sync you wonid to your forum profile which can be done through the profile link at the top of the forum

Well im signed up and my wonid is correct and all

Still can't connect and my wonid in profile is correct and all i sync'd it and all that. It even says account enabled so why won't it let me in?

because GU is gay to sum people when you try to connect....happens to me all the time..

But i can never get on this server and its really starting to annoy me ='(

erm..how bout you read the help page provided when trfying to sink your account.....or just type in console when you connect to GU #1 this...

Ok i've read the help bit and done what you said but it still didn't work.

I'm lost =\

maybe the server just genuinely hates your computer? or have you cheated before cus it couldve been on an aocab server and u banned globally

If that was the case then it would say he was banned not that the server was for mature gamers

create a text file, enter the following and save as "admin.cfg":
setinfo "pw-octa4" "password"
developer 1
echo AdminMod password has been accepted
developer 0

also modify the autoexec.cfg file in the C://sierra/counter-strike/cstrike directory to contain the following:

exec admin.cfg
retry

The autoexec.cfg file should automatically run and allow you into the server if it doesnt then in console type the following:

exec autoexec.cfg

It should then run the autoexec.cfg and retry the connection, if that doesn't work then you'll probably have to try sending a pm to one of the admins

ok i've never cheated in my entire cs life! maybe a bit in single player warcraft 2 but thats all i swear :)

Anyways i've already done the above and i did it again just incase but still nutting :(

ok try connecting via a external program such as "All Seeing Eye" and make sure your password box under where you enter your wonid in your profile has got your password in it..

or you could try the admin.cfg but if you try this then make sure you remove your password from the password box mentioned above..

Ahh welcome to the server. I know it can be a pain setting up, but im sure after a few games on a nicly filled server you will be glad you did.
