Well it was bad.....
The Avenging might of Holy_worrior (yes spelt like that :P ) was brought to an end by one of the nastiest monster types arround... the dreaded poppers :P however i can also bing the cause of death down to using zeal.... no pally in his right mind should use this in hell act 3 you have no controll as to what you are hitting and poppers HURT!
The Furious might of Slaughter was brought to a stand still by a giant beast Urdar... huge demons that carry a dead body wrapped in chains as their weapons, This particular one was designed to do as much damage as possible as it was Extra strong, cursed, aura enchanted with might. Two hits took down the mighty Slaughter.
And the nimble and accurate Freya. Her body left on the steps of hell, with a Lightning enchanted multi-shot (hardest unique type in the game) alas we will never be able to recover your eq....
Drakest the Necromancer, thanks to the efforts of Evo the Barbarian, has at last uncovered the final peice in the set of the necromancer of legend Trang Oul, as he placed his new helm on his head, the power that flowed through him intoxicated him... SKELETON MASTERY AT LEVEL 31 BOOOOO-YAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

So whats the advantage of playing hardcore over normal? Is there even a point to it? (Don't say for the challenge, tell me what extra fun they get)

The game feels much more real, you really feel fear when you approach dangerous foes, and are drawn in that much further.
Softcore deaths, pfft, lemme go get my corpse and I'll be fine. As a HC you really fear death, I remember taking on Andariel and my heart was pounding, I knew what I was facing and I knew what was at stake.
I still play my softcores from time to time, but playing a HC adds that much more to the experience.

Well, Naut'kyn Mua died today at Level 28 due to a blizzard cast by a champion Cantor (didn't teleport fast enough) :(
My Lev 9 Paladin (Silin) still lives and I may soon start a Bow Amazon (and probably another Sorc soon).

i'm so happy today i reached my d2 goal it's taken all school holidays and lot of time. But i made it boht of my hc charactors are over or 80 now
