Knight obtained a guitar of a mate so he can learn to play it and be like jimmy hendrix :P

lol but i aitn very good i am a n00b and i need some really easy songs to start off with
anyone know any good songs?
i got these 2 songs that are pritty easy
metallica - nothing else matters
nirvana - come as u are

dose anyone else know any easy ones?

also do music shops sell bags of picks liek all assorted ones dose anyone know?
if so how much are the picks?

picks are 50c each in brissy and songs to start off with...... hrmmmmm i think u should try some blink 182... or lear to play rhythm

LOL! Depends how serious you are and if you plan on becoming an electiric or bass guitar player...Nirvana - Teen Spirit and SilverChair - Freak are very easy songs. Do you know how to read tabs cause you should probs learn, I personally dun understand them but the people in my band pretty much are always talkin bout where to get good ones from...Just go to a search engine and type in "Guitar Tabs" or sumfin like that...good luck knight...

BTW its a aqustic/electric guitar as in its aqustic but it can be pluged into a amp so my family can hear my ghuitar skills :P
its got metal strings (i knwo ouchies thumbs about to fall off )

just start off with some easy shit ......... im a drummer and i can play like 3 songs from each band on gutair and thats just watching my mates play and trying for myself.... so its not that hard..

freak is an easy song ! so are prettry much all silverchairs earlier songs

you know how to tune your guitar in drop d right ? you know how to tune your guitar ? dont you ?

i got a tuner here that i got of a friend girl today
but my guitar dont liek it cause i dont have a cord that will go from the guitar tot he tuner
for non electric aqstics it has a inbuilt mic but that doosnt like my guitar
maybe cause its metal strings :?

but mine works just fine like that? maybe its crap tuner?

PFFT as if you'd waste any amount of money on a tuner. See those two things either side of your head? Use them :)

Break a string, and you'll generally need to replace all 5. Set of strings doesn't cost much. Ohh and 3rd string from the bottom is your "G" string... no really... it is :) (Sorry, couldn't help myself)

And finally, we all know Mark Knopfler is the greatest guitarist of all time :) (Sardok, back me up here :P) But yes, Hendrix is right up there.

nah teaching your self will bring the goods in the long run
so much more satisfying, im mean youve got a digital recorder (computer) u can manipulate and loop the shittiest bass line to sound good , if you know how to produce/master is doesnt madder wat sound u got its wat u do with it
