I've just rang Telstra to change my billing address for my mobile phone account. After giving her the details, she's interupted our progress with...
"I'm sorry, my computer seems to have frozen. I'll need to run over and use someone elses, please hold the line for just a minute."
GOLD! PURE GOLD! What she didn't tell me is that this "minute" was actually a "Telstra minute". For those of you unsure what this is, it's reasonably similar to a "Microsoft minute".
During the times we're getting bad pings to game servers via BP - should see what sort of delay times they got accessing the Telstra network when accessing records etc.

Oh so your wait was anything between 16 seconds to 7962615309 hours......
All MS OS's do that, if you want to know how long it will take and probably get it done quicker, set up an ftp and fxp the stuff across. I do it all the time and it says how long it will take and it seems to transfer it a hell of alot quicker.
Or get linux and do it the way you normally do, it will actually say how long it has (pretty much to the exact second :))
and you haven't gotten that before?? happens all the time? and you stop using an OS because of that?? what do u do if it crashes and you lose a few documents?? cry?? commit suicide??
