Whoever has access that can do this, please consider:
Uploading some phpBB2 styles for the site.
this is a very nice one :)

but you could upload different ones, so people have a choice
just a suggestion.
don't like it...
plus - the forum fits into the ENTIRE style of GU. no use/point in changing one unless you are changing the entire thing... too much effort for no gain.
plus - it's not like it's going to attract more people... or people that the community would even want.
you can't speak for everybody seqo. I for one don't really like the scheme on these forums. Never had. I think it is recs fault.

no i can't speak for everyone wortel - but neither can you.
i wasn't even stating that "No we can't have it"
i said - there is no point having it unless you change the whole style... that still stands... there is no point changing anything to do with the style of any part of the GU website unless you change other things to suit it. that applies with most websites.
i quite like the layout of GU as it stands and the colour scheme is good imho.
umm dude, you need to check ur background info
in ur profile you can select a style
i.e he can have that crap one, and everyone else can have this normal one :P

will it make you come here more often?
will it cause some kind of profound epiphany for the resident community of GU?

most of them styles are ghey, and the rest don't work all that well . nothing wrong wif this forum, Overdrive and the gang have done an awesome job!

it'd be good.... if everybody... and i mean everybody liked the new layout.
but people will obviously object.
it is nothing like a case mod - i think that is a terrible analogy. a case mod affects ONE person. this would affect hundreds of people - many whom will like it - many who will not, like myself.
if you private message recoil or OD you may get a much better response from them.... than i can give.

once again yes.
but there is still the extra effort of uploading it - which then requires webspace etc. then there is cumulative effects (everybody wanting different styles)
but like i already said - PM OD or Rec... see what they think...
this is just my opinion - it still (no matter whether it be optional or not) requires effort/time/resources which could and probably will be better spent elsewhere...
