hmm nice. How do i stop Internet explorer from resizing the image to fit in the window but instead leave it so i ca scroll around it. It makes images look like crap.

Ohh and if you don't have the money ie $7000 for 3d studio max go use blender http://www.blender.org/. Is a decent 3d app thats gone open source and if u get the older version it has a decent game engine with logic bricks and can also be programmed with python sripts. Or is you know c c++ you could just program the game engine to be better :)

maya personal learning edition is free too. comes with UT2k3. need windows NT or 2000 to run though.

here's a sample pic of my first experiments mapping for a new HL MOD called bushido. i'm on trial to become an official team member and have agreed not to show any current pics of the work in progress. my current map craps on this pic though.

Well I made this a few minutes ago.. made in 3D Studio Max and Photoshop 6.0.
I know it sounds really depressing, but I didn't mean for it to come out that way.. I just a really cool mental image of broken shards of glass on carpet; which I made. Then I added some blood, and retextured the glass, and changed the carpet to paving; composed and added the poem at last minute (took about three tho').
It's crappy, but hey, it was a fourty minute job. :D Curse thee loins Ruin! I hereby move to ban Ruin from posting anymore in this thread. :P

It is here, and i hope to commense coding for the site this week. I never really go t the old one finished, because the host was so crap. I am trying to code opacity effects but i dont know much. If anyone knows how to make an IFrame semi-transparent (in any of these codes: CSS, HTML or JavaScript), please let me know, it would be muchly appreciated.

heh yep uni's a bludge. At the moment han't learnt very much in classes with the exception being maths where it seems we go through about 2 topics each lecture :x . Can learn more by doing a quick google then showing up to 2 hour lectures when the lecturer says 1 um or ah every 10 seconds or so. Ohh except these fucking common units they make us do, ffs they are the biggest waste of fucking time, soz about language but i did not go to uni to be forced to do something complety unrelated my course :evil:.

I would HIGHLY suggest that you use the banner as the shell, you could change 'news, files, forum, login' to play, stop etc....
