Post 13

ima see it later in the week.... when everyone has gone away and i can watch it in peace and sit away from meph who will be way more excited than he should be for a movie :P

Post 14

if you can catch it sometime during the week you'll get better seats. for a premiere it was relatively sparse, as it was the middle of the day on a school week. i luv free lines :).
afaik the matrix reloaded is coming out in 3-4 weeks... cannot wait. and the league of extraordinary gentlemen looks pretty wicked as well - gonna have to see that.

Post 15

I saw it lastnight. Over all it was good, but it started getting a bit boring in the last 1/4 of the movie

Post 16

I mean I really want to see it but I dont think I'll be that excited about it.

I'll just wait a few days for the intinal crowds to settle down then go.

If you don't, I might see with you after I get back from Canberra.

Or I could go see it in Canberra with Brittany and Pippa. It will probably depend on how hard I'm working.

I fly out monday week. w00t!

Post 23

Presidente! What you upto in Canberra?

Well say hi to Brittany and Pippa for me! And since its only three days i am not sure you'll have the time. Do you have to fly back on the 14th or the 15th?

Cause it only gets released on the 14th at midnight.

as pressie says he's going there for work. Some function that he's draging Brittany and Pippa off to. He can fill in the details :P

Post 25

is there anyone here who DIDN"T like the first movie but thought this was much better? i found the first movie fairly bland, even though i've watched it two times. so i need opinions to see if this is worth watching

i hope you are talking about X-Men and not The Matrix?? :P

Post 27

yea i saw xmen2 with my ex-gf a couple of nights ago.

GOOD MOVIE

Post 28

I saw it and LOVED it, although there were certain points that dragged on a bit.

The opening scenes with Nightcrawler were AWESOME. I used to love X-Men, so i really enjoyed it.

Did anybody happen to see the news presenter on the TV when they're in the bar scene - Hank McCoy? ;-)

EDIT: i am idiot, pls slap me.

Post 29

cow the "Phoenix" stuff is from the cartoon or something

Post 30

the phoenix... it rises from the ashes???

Post 31

what happened to Jean Grey?????????

:o

cow you BITCH!

:P

Post 32

Hmmm X-Men goodness. I really should've read more of their comics. Stopped buying the comics for Wolverine and X-Men as it was costing me too much.

Post 37

Did Gambit even ever reveal his real name throughout the X-Men series?

Post 38

I heard that Gambit was going to make a cameo, but i can't remember seeing him? I saw Beast, but also missed Jubilee and Shadowcat.

Reports said that Gambit was gonna be in some bar, lighting up a deck of cards, but i don't remember seeing him. Anybody who has seen it able to remind me of where they were?

I think i might go see it again today, i LOVED the Nightcrawler scene.

X2 (2003) CAST LIST

Katie Stuart ...Katherine 'Kitty' Pryde/Shadowcat
Kea Wong ...Jubilation Lee / Jubilee
Daniel Cudmore ...Piotr Rasputin/Colossus
Steve Bacic ...Dr. Henry 'Hank' McCoy/Beast (uncredited)
James Bamford ...Remy LeBeau/Gambit (uncredited)

Post 39

do you guys want to know were he is?

you dont accultty see him only his name

Post 40

if you only see his name... then why is an actor in the cast list?

they would not have put that in the cast list if he was not in there somewhere.

Post 41

maybe he's in deleted seneces (sp?)

Post 42

ok - that's possible

Post 43

was the kid that wolverine rescued towards the end anyone special? you know.... the one with the forked tongue. you see him in a couple of spots. tried to remember the mutants from several comic series and couldn't place him.

Masato

Post 44

I picked up the Phoenix stuff right off. If they make another movie I wonder if they will have Dark Phoenix or just go right to Jean Grey being Phoenix... I always liked Jean Grey as Phoenix better :)

I thought that when they where rescuing the kids in the end that Storm said "Jubilee" but that was the only character on the list I saw or thought I saw ...

And if Gambit is in the movie somewhere I will have to go back and check! He's one of my fave X-Men :D

Post 45

When Mystiqe is "hacking" into that computer and pulls up a list of known mutants...

I noticed the name Remy LeBeau who is Gambit, because the scene was only up there for a moment I didnt get a chance to check any of the other names there..

And did anyone else see a sort of bird shape thing in the water as the movie came to a close? or was that just me?

Post 46

I haven't seen the movie yet as time hasn't been very forgiving lately. Although it's a bit disappointing to hear that Good ol' cajun cooking Remy (finally remembered his name) was left out.

Hmm while we're on the topic wonder if they could turn the onslaught saga into a movie.

Also by any chance would anyone have a copy of the last issue of the Onslaught saga?

Post 47

Brain Dance, yes that was a bird shape that you saw in the water afterwards.

I do hope that it's just Jean Grey as Phoenix, rather than Dark Phoenix. But Dark Phoenix could be a new storyline, her no longer feeling towards Cyclops, and all that sorta stuff.

Heard news that Hugh Jackman might not be coming back as Wolverine - saying that there are plenty of other storylines and characters they could follow.

OMEGA WEAPON!!!

Post 48

yes a very good movie indeed and liek said most of the time the start with nightclawler f*cken rocked

i like umm that tall dude int hemovie where the army mob raid the schoola nd hes body turns metal that pritty cool.

sorta thought the part were wolverine got shot looked real, didn't like that fire dude to easy to tell what he would choose

man i really didn't want that dudes secutary to die she was cool wanted her and wolverine to get together a perfect match :P

anyway if u havn't seen the movie i suggest u got see it it gets the thumbs up form me

Post 49

X-2 rocks. See it now.
