i feel sorry for him hey, in the last race, he had a huuuuge lead, and it was getting bigger, and they pulled up the race with the stupid safety cars and everyone caught up.. he would have been so annoyed if he'd lost cause of that.. hehe
ford got one back.. yay! maybe the tides are changing.. too many holden shirts/hats floating around..

I have to say Ambrose drove like a fucking legend and Skaife (yea I know he was the enemy) wasn't bad either but his piece of shit brand (HOLDEN) couldnt cut it to

Not to mention the hopeless holden driver who managed to crash right into the fence right in front of where we were sitting ... held up the race for like 10 minutes...

Im a Holden man myself but barracked for Ambrose today. Want to see the Fords win this year with the new BA.

Yeah go the Ford fans but remember that the big Holden teams (HRT and Team Brock) have not done any testing this year due to the collapse of Tom Walkenshaw racing.

Its funny that when Ford gets it in one sock Holden falls to pieces. At least now Skaife has bought the teams, it will be equal racing.

Pity Greg Murphy didnt come first but at least he got in the top 5, and at least HOLDEN are still first in the series :P

Seeing as this has turned into a bit of a which car manufacturer is better thread, can somebody tell me how much truth is in the fact that either Jaguar's or GM's (cant remember which one it was) cars are built in ford's factorys?

i heard that somewhere, i am wondering if anyone here can tell me if its true or not..

edit: the article only says that Ford Premier Auto Group controls Jaguar, Aston Martin and Volvo. not sure whether they do come out of Ford owned factories but that is highly possible...

who else can't wait until Toyota brings a V8 to the Supercars? should add some spice to the current mix of cars ;)

should be a nice car... it's a mag. although if you look up Ford Premier Auto Group on google it should give you all the info you need. the article was actually based on the new CEO of the Group who was the ex-BMW tech dude. so it's not really about the group, i just remembered that Ford was mentioned along with Jaguar... ;)

I'm about to upload one of the videos of the donut cars, doing some burnouts - its entertaining to watch. More on that soon.

v8's where bloody great. I had the best spot above pit lane courtesy of the wonderfull people at VB.

I guess my shitty job has it perks afer all.

I was above macros ambrose pit all day, those guys in the pit are so proffesional it amazing to watch.

I believe the GTR (this particular one) sold for "10-120k and I think a V8 super car is in the vicinity of around $550k+ (Just for the car mind you).

Soon as i can get the right USB drivers (if any one has a SONY TRV-33E cam corder USB drivers please pm me :() I can download the video i took and burn you off a copy .... i pritty much got the whole V8 race on sunday cept i cut for when the stupid safty car was out... and i also got the burn outs and the motor bikes and stuff :D i must admitt we had GREAT seats

Yeah woop. That MG was pretty funny, its right tires came off the track, but I didn't think much of it at the time because other cars had done it before, but re-aligned themselfs back onto the track. This one just kept going on the dirt/grass and went smack straight through one of the polystyrene advertisement boards :)

Just uploaded a video from the v8's. Its the donut cars doing burnouts n stuff. Good to watch. Keep in mind my camera was designed for Stills, video is just an extra thinggy, so quality isn't through the roof.

i must admit, ive been a cruiser man for ever and a day.. but when it comes to v8's, i was a holden man.. then i started driving a ford.. and well.. good things come to those who wait ;)
theres more holden people out there.. thats for sure.. half the people at the race were wearing holden merchandise, 1/4 were wearing ford, and the last 1/4 didn't have either..
i think as it stands, its not that people are only now able to 'own up' to following the ford line since they won, its that holden peoples are too shamed to own up to the fact, since they lost..

I own a fairly new hsv Commodore, love the way they drive but I still barracked for FORD on the day. Why u may ask?
1. Its been a long time since they have won decently
2. I like ambrose
3. Ambrose's car looked and sounded great
4. I wanted to see him get 4 in a row. :)
I would like to see FORD win this year. Im not a holden or ford man. I have just drove holdens for the pure fact that FORD havent produced a Falcon thats worthy to spit on for many years. Now the BA has come along, we shall see, we shall seeee........

Does anyone know how many of the Ford Championships were one with a Ford Sierra at the wheel (when touring cras werent really touring cars)

the info for the sierras will be online i am sure just i am too lazy to look it up as i already know it was alot, they kicked ass that was the era of jon bowe and dick johnson dominance.
