diablo2 version 1.1 (impossible)

just playing around looking at the changes i had a lvl 99 paladin with 300+ in vitality 95% damage reduced plenty leech 10k defence schefers hammer in hand...dealing about 2000-8000 dmg per zeal hit

i couldnt kill half the things in worldstone chamber level 3 (half are physical immune and lots of mana stealing enemies)
i didnt have max all resistances ... so i standed no chance of living if i stood still for fireballs to hit me

i ended up running around everything and getting to the level baals on
where i got pummeled in about 2 seconds after seeing an enemy
they those lightning shooting guys from act3/act4 (great marsh and plains of despair)
but now they do cold damage so you cant run dodge unless u have cannot be frozen. these things must have been doing about 300dmg each and there was about 10 in 1 group.
all shoot at me at once killing me instantly...i had about 50 all resistances...

i could kill things pretty easily if they were on their own but they came in too big of packs so i couldnt survive more then a few seconds being fired apon...
(this is with /players 1 .... with /players 8 .... impossible )

for those trying this in hardcore....goodluck

the stuff i had was so rare that it is almost impossible for someone to have it all and i still got totally destroyed, these items in 1.09 would have made me pretty much invincible, and now i cant even get to baals minions...let alone killing lister
( anyone who can kill baal in hell hc deserves a medal now and possibly fan websites made about them)

I am slowly working thru Hell diff again(did it in .09) with one of my friends (he plays a barb)

we are managing just, and only on players 2 :)

I think the idea of it being so hard is that you are forced to multi, Which I think is a good change :)

but as I said before Corpe explosion is a god send now, seeing how it does damage based off the life of the thing you killed.

yeah i have the same problem ALL my paladins skills were rendered fucking useless.. Rarely hit anything.. almost as if i was playing with lag (online)..

how anyone can play that game to a level 99 character is beyond me...i could only ever get to about lvl 36 before the game bored the absolute shit outta me..and then i was cut because he was still a shit char even after i had played the game for ages (it felt like it :P but obviously not very long compared to the hours required for a lvl 99 char). out of interest, how long would u say it takes u to get to lvl 99?

i have a lvl 72 palagay in hell and i have been playing for 3 weeks (not straight)
