WC3 Clan Wars.

Would any clans on this board be interested in having a small Wc3 Clan Tourney, i.e. same rules as normal clan wars just your teammates get the added benefit of having the Wc3 mod :D. Me and my clan thought it was an alright idea just for a little fun, if anyone has any ideas or is interested reply in this topic k.

If you can come up with a viable Xp system etc -=Sb=- might be interested for a bit of fun.

That's the point of it :D A bit of fun for the ones who are owning.

Would be fun, but would have to be played on the short term xp server so everyone starts with 0 xp.

yer i think it would be a good idea but as they said only short term. cos i kno what its like when ur gonna start a new race and everyone else is lvl 9 it really makes things hard.

i was personally thinking about doing it on the GU servers with LT Xp meaning that clan members would have to practice and level up if they wanted to go well. All teamates in my clan have at least one level 8 character and we wouldnt mind versing a whole team of level 10's or whatnot. I believe this way would be better because then teams could work out strategies using each players most used and best race. I personally am a NE player where as my other teamates use Hmn and UD (1 Orc i believe).

which is stupid because if you just wanna organise a fun war you shouldnt have to sit down playing wc3 mod for hours on end just so your EQUIL with the other team. ST XP means it comes down to skill, bs, and fun.

Ummmm.......ok, im pretty sure nearly all SB guys who play on the LT XP server have a level 7+ Orc.

nah it should be long term xp so everyone can actuallly use there skills
and the loosing team would still benifit from killing greater lvl such as ten increasing there xp overall anyway
also im lvl 10 and i want to win :twisted:

i think creating another server to hold fun wc3 wars on would be awesum

Could each team be allocated a certain amount of exp to spend? And only have that for the war (with exping occuring during the battle)?

dX would be up for it, both shortterm and longterm style.

So is this a thumb's up from the admins of GU WC3 server?

You don't register your clan, its not a ladder or a competition.

Find an admin, ask them if you can book a server and if he can setup the server or maybe even admin the war. Depending on the desired amount of players wanted per team, both teams join and away you go.

Use either mr12 or 15 or first to 10 rounds.

Easy?

No like on this forum there are clans that have their own forums. How do people with other clans who play in the GU server get their clan up on the GU website.

But It helps to have been in the GU community a while before getting one (just a note).

A long term type clan ...not just a flash in the pan one

Maybe if you post some info about your clan and its members it will help the rest of us to get to know you and your clan.

Maybe challenge one of the GU clans to a skirmish or friendly prac to gauge how you stack up ... pick an easy one like [SEMNI} or [S} or another newbie type clan ....

Thats fair enough, I know that Cr@zY isn't well known but we do play a lot on the GU WC3 servers and have gotten to know a few of the regulars. :)

Cr@zY is an actual clan that participates in the GameArena CS Ladder, but most of the 'members' that play on the WC3 servers are mainly school friends (with the exception of TuRKeY, AnT and myself).

And due to this it makes it somewhat difficult to go around spreading the website and so fourth when its just 3 members :P

Now I've probably gone completely off track and have no idea what I'm saying so I'll leave it at this :D
