just wondering if those human users that camps like 9/10 rounds using invis is bannable...
some of them just camps 9/10 rounds, even when on the attacking side and being last one left. And its obvious they arent camping to help the team due to their camping spots (like spawn, corners that arent near choke points...etc)
i've seen some warnings and slaps, but still no kicking or banning after like 5 warnings....maybe admins should take some action so this 'invis camping' actually stops in the future.
Why would u complain about something like that seriously if people wanna use invis they have the rite to if they use humans as there race why shouldnt they be able to use the powers that human has but everyone who use orcs,elves and undead get there skills do people ever complain about undead running faster,jumping higher elves evasion trushot or orcs nades or critcal strike its called wc3 mod people can do watever they want wat happens if ur human and ur only one left on ur team against 4 or more people wouldnt u camp ??? so shhh Wat race do u use so i can complain bout the powers ur race has
i got no problems if they run up into good spot at start, then invis and kill people that run past choke points, i do that with human too, but i dont stay there for the whole 3 minutes if no one runs past.
but the thing is, when someone camps at time wasting spots almost EVERY round and doesnt move at all when he's last one left and has bomb to plant, i dont see how that's fair.
those type of camping is already sad enough by itself but on the GU war3 servers, its mostly done by human invis campers.
SpeeDaFreak just read my first post properly man. My complaint is towards persistent campers, which happens to be mostly human invis users. I mainly use orc/undead so u can go complain about those.
Oh and if im last one left against however many opponents, defend if on defending team, attack if on attacking team. No point keeping others waiting and me crouching at some corner looking at the scenery while waiting for a cheap kill aye?
I hate human camping aswell, but on the topic why dont you just ban orc's for throwin gren's, undead for stealing your life or NE for evading your bullets? If your gunna play on the WC servers i think you just gotta deal with it but i do, however, believe in excessive camping which should be dealt with by warnings etc. You'd be surprised how much i cop for evading whole enemy clips, more so than id dish out at human campers.
jeez man for the last 2 posts i was just wondering if those non-stop pointless + time-wasting camping is bannable, invis or no invis (mostly people do it with invis anyway)
its those 'lets camp at spawn with invis so when teammates are dead opponents will come looking and i can get a cheap frag' - type of camping im talking about, or something similar. im pretty sure 98% of the people dont do that.
damn, whenever i complain about those type of camping, everyone think im talking about those 'i'll camp here for a while because im guarding a choke point/bombsite' - type.........
i give up, lets all camp in corners, lets hide when u have bomb and is the last one left on team, lets camp and not defuse bomb when is planted.
I hope no one complains when i do that during game, because i sure do see others whinge more than me when people do it on servers, and now people think im an idiot when i ask if its bannable here.
The admins have a policy that we dont allow "Last man stands", as in, its acceptable for a human (or anyone else) to camp a given spot, but once they become the last man alive, (unless there are multiple people camping, which gets us very angry) they have to move. If they dont, i tend to slap them around while enemies are closeby, giving away theur position.
what if, there are no admins around, and some invis camper decides to camp just about every round, whatever the situation. If people tell him to stop and he doesnt, would demo-ing him get him banned (boring demos if admins watch em hehe)??
happened to me twice, a week ago, and most people on the server got very annoyed, yet could do nothing.

yeh i agree with sa' Martok, i dont really have a problem with CTs camping at bombsites, even if they are last man, as long as they run to defuse the bomb if Ts plant on the other site.
its mostly the campers on attacking team that i dont like.......
Yep, 1 T camping the house in italy is fine while 5 stupid CT's wonder where he is. On de maps however, two bomb spots? No, but camping the bomb itself is fine.
"guarding" objectives is fine, but spawn campers are the gay ones, or people that sumhow get to lv 5 and then camp it up and maybe get 1 kills every five rounds. i often switch chars mid game depending on situations, say im running aroud wit my lv9 undead, notice im the last one left i make sure they see me run off sumwhere switch to human then camp it up. if they dont follow me in the next 40 seconds i go out gunz blazing.
hmm although there are 2 bombsites, CTs camping in any is still playing according to objectives i reckon, maybe in clan wars only....i personally dont like people sitting in corners with invis near a bombsite every round on public, unless CTs are getting owned so Ts will plant early for sure, then thats different.
anyway so is this excessive-inappropriate camping bannable? if so, i can threaten people to stop when it happens hehe, if no admins are around.
i know some admins are lurking around with different names....damn i always wanted to be one of those, catching misbehaving people that think their actions are cool, by suprise.
Can you stop whinging about nothing no one cares. If it gets to a point where its unberable then an admin will take care of it. You dont need to keep on going but what about the campers who.. and what about the campers that... Just let it be and get over it
chill man im rarely the one that yells out "camper!" during the game.
i was just asking a question and giving some personal opinion because this is a "forum" aka discussion board. I think a thread like this is more suitable than say 'unban me please' type threads on a forum.
oh and i did mention "when admins ARE NOT around" before so....yeh. Obviously i know that admins will take care of situation when they are around.
