Hey guys.

Heres a tricky one for yas.

My cs started acting up recently.
Its running at half speed.....literally.

I jump at half speed, i run and shoot at half speed etc etc.
I also appear this way one the server. So people watching me, see me float around jumping at half the normal speed.

They all thought i had hacks :P

Anyone know how to fix this?
cbf reinstalling either.

lol you got what pam has it's shocking other then that i have no idea how to fix it but to re-install not that bad just back up the normal things

Post 3

i get it when:

Running COGS and playin CS at the same time.
Running MediaPlayer at the same time.
Running Outlook Express at the same time.
Use to happen when i had msn running.
Happens occasionally with Quicktime running.

Its weird, and you shoot slow aswell, so freakin annoying.

Roger taht.

It halved my cs performace literally.
Although, it doesnt touch ur fps...just the way your client handles the game :P

Post 9

i have quicktime 6 installed and its fine, just go to run and run msconfig, disable virtually everything on the last tab (XP users, cant remeber for 98) and be happy, faster boots, no anoying background apps

Post 10

Milenko, reinstall QT6, but make sure you disable the autolaunch and tray icon n' stuff, basically be sure it isn't running in the background at all.

Yeh stop it from hogging resources/ :D

Yes, moving away from MS software is usually a good thing.
